About the Heroes of Chemistry Awards
The Heroes of Chemistry Award is the American Chemical Society’s highest honor given to teams of industrial scientists recognizing innovations brought to market successfully.
Any private or publicly owned for-profit company may submit a nomination for a team of scientists, biochemists, or chemical engineers who played a vital role in the research and development of a commercial product that has had a dramatic impact on the welfare and progress of humanity.
Nominees will be notified in 2026 of their nomination, and selected award winners will be recognized at the Heroes of Chemistry Awards Ceremony at the ACS 2026 Fall Meeting.
