The 2026 Green Chemistry Challenge Awards are accepting nominations. Winning a Green Chemistry Challenge Award isn’t just an honor, it’s a catalyst for visibility, credibility, and environmental impact.
Since 1996, 155 organizations and individuals have been recognized for innovations that reduce hazardous substances, conserve resources, and deliver economic benefits. Collectively, these award-winning technologies have:
- Eliminated 830 million pounds of hazardous chemicals and solvents
- Saved over 21 billion gallons of water
- Prevented 7.8 billion pounds of carbon dioxide released to air
Past winners have leveraged this recognition to attract investment, forge strategic partnerships, and strengthen their market position – all while advancing sustainability.
