Join us in taking some time to settle into the new year. There will be no January meeting and our annual Future Leaders meeting will be rescheduled to a date later this year. This event will be an opportunity for Ph.D. students who have shown exceptional work ethic, creativity, perseverance, and collaboration to present their research to the local section. Student nominations will be accepted closer to the meeting date.
Tuesday, February 17th we will be tasting natural wines at Toni’s Wine Bar in Schenectady.
Wednesday, March 18th we will be welcoming solid state chemist Dr. Kwabena Bediako from UC Berkeley to speak and to receive the Buck-Whitney Award.
